What You Will Be Doing

The International Account Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to increase revenue in global markets as well as contributing to meeting/exceeding all sales revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets. They will be managing relationships with distributors and buyers and working with suppliers.

 

The ideal candidate will be able to utilize a range of competencies and skills including the planning, prioritizing, and organizing of daily tasks and long-term assignments, the relationship management of both internal and external business partners, as well as the aptitude to work with management to maintain and develop new strategies to exceed sales and profitability goals.

 

The position will also be responsible for building and growing sales within a range of accounts consisting of different geographic territories internationally. The individual needs to be a relationship builder, independent, self-directed, and outgoing in support of fueling our next level of growth as a company.

 

Some travel may include selected international distributor and sales visits, trade show representation, and demo events.


What You Will Be Responsible For

·      Ensure exceptional customer support and service as a main point of contact for our international distribution partners.

·      Communicate and resolve any issues or items of need that may arise:

·      Fielding phone and email inquiries

·      Sales, Purchase, and Material Order placement, updates, and discrepancies

·      Logistics management in tandem with Production Dept.

·      Tracking, sending, and processing shipments and samples.

·      Execute data entry for sales orders, purchase orders, credit memos, and invoices within the essential business systems

·      Develop tools specific to open Sales Orders and Production

·      Work closely with the Accounting Department to ensure timely payments are made as per the terms for each international distribution partner.

·      Work with the Production Department to create, submit, and track all purchase order needs including salesman samples and seasonal orders.

·      Analyze accounts and recommend strategies to management to increase the effectiveness of all international accounts.

·      Research and provide information on new potential international distribution partners as well as competitor information for feedback to management.

·      Travels as support to varying tradeshow/conferences and account visits as needed.

·      Work closely with the Product Development and Marketing department to serve as product knowledge and brand expert including:

·      Prepare line sheets, order forms, and lookbooks.

·      “Hind-sighting” – review and analyze best sellers/assortments as needed for go-to-market.

·      Perform seasonal consumer insight meetings to stay ahead of consumer trends and demand.

·      Monthly feedback with Distributors to understand – changing market trends, top sellers, and key accounts.

·      Marketing liaison – organize and monitor celebrity sightings, and social media highlights, execute campaigns from brand/PR, and communicate to distributors


Skills and Experience Required

·      Ensure all requirements are met per the company’s “CORE values” and strategies.

·      Computer proficient with Microsoft applications

·      Experience with Net Suite, or similar business operating systems preferred.

·      Educational background including a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent.

·      Business administration/management, marketing, or economics preferred.

·      Strong analytical and quantitative skills

·      Strong communication skills: including the ability to work in a team environment give honest, direct feedback, and is a solid verbal and written communicator.

·      Meets deadlines, prioritizes appropriately, copes well with change, and maintains composure under pressure.

·      Is accountable for results, approaches obstacles proactively, and looks for ways to resolve problems and issues.
