The Story Behind El Sol: EL SOL is a workshop project between two old friends, Wilee Roberts of Hampui Hats and Ben Goorin of Goorin Bros., passionate about hats. They come together one Sunday each month in Wilee's workshop in Berkely, California to make something extraordinary for the moment. Each hat is crafted by hand from articles responsibly and sustainably sourced from around the world. Learn more about El Sol here.

The Details: 100% wool handmade in Bolivia and details finished in Berkley. El Alacran has a 4" teardrop crown, and a 3.25" wide flat brim. As always, a leather sweatband and a gorgeous yellow woven hat band to top it off.

Why We Love It: The steel grey dyed wool makes this style super attainable, while the woven hat band brings both color and texture to this otherwise neutral look. The addition of the beaded narrow band, and the striking cobalt blue accessories make this hat elevated and the pops of color complementary.
