Since we interact with so many hat-lovers on our social media channels, Nicky (our social media and community manager), started asking frequent Goorin collectors about their collections, why they love hats, and to share what their hat walls at home look like!

Q: When did you begin your Goorin Bros adventure? / A: It first started in 2018 when my American friend gave me a Goorin trucker hat as a gift. Then, i started noticing celebrities and footballers are also collecting it. I got more interested when I found out that the trucker hats are actually manmade. That caught my attention and I started collecting it. I began buying just 1 cap and eventually purchasing more than 2 caps per month or if there’s any new release.
Q: When did you begin to realize you were starting a collection? / A: I began purchasing my own collection when Brunei started selling few patches of the caps. I became more interested when the designs of the trucker caps keep on changing like Friday drop, capsule collection and some exclusive editions.
Q: Was there a mind-shift somewhere along the way where you knew you were about to embark on something bigger? / A: Knowing that Goorin always has a Friday drop, capsule collection and most important, the exclusive editions, the thrill of waiting for it to be release and having cap wars with other people worldwide has really made it fun. Always been excited waiting for it and with the time difference, I don’t mind burning candles just to wait for it to be released.
Q: What are these hats fulfilling from within that has made you keep going and adding to your collection? / A: The thrill of waiting for new designs to be release. The interior and exterior always kept changing and how they re-engineered the materials caught me into adding my collections.
Q: What are your top three favorite hats that you own? / A: Yes Siam, Bird's The Word, Buddy The Rat
Q: Any that you missed or think we should bring back or make for the first time? / A: CACKLE BOSS (JOKER!)
Q: You are a brand ambassador. How has that been going? / A: My experience being an ambassador in my country makes me happy. I get to meet a lot of new people who are interested in caps, and I started making reviews of each cap.
Q: Any message you wanted to give to our customers about why you choose Goorin and why you choose to continue adding more and more hats to your collection? / A: Goorin is a brand to die for. With new designs every week, you will definitely 'thirst' for more collections.
