Since we interact with so many hat-lovers on our social media channels, Nicky (our social media and community manager), started asking frequent Goorin collectors about their collections, why they love hats, and to share what their hat walls at home look like!
Q: When did you begin your Goorin Bros adventure? / A: When I was 15 years old around 9 years ago in San Antonio, my dad gave me Tuna
cap it was amazing cause when I saw it I really felt in love with the cap and I wanted another and another one, but I was young so I didn’t have money to get more caps.
Q: When did you begin to realize you were starting a collection? / A: When I was 19 years old I started to work with my family and saving money. Every week I started to buy 3 or 4 caps.
Q: Was there a mind-shift somewhere along the way where you knew you were about to embark on something bigger? / A: All I’m thinking right now is getting more and more caps because I love them. I live for them, I work for them, I want all drops, all capsules, all caps.
Q: What are these hats fulfilling from within that has made you keep going and adding to your collection? / A: I love animals and every single cap has a history in my life and a part in my life.
Q: What are your top three favorite hats that you own? / A: My top caps are: Bad Luck cause I have a black cat and I love black cats, Shark cause I love going fishing and Xolo.
Q: Any that you missed or think we should bring back or make for the first time? / A: Bring back more reflective caps cause I have 5 and I love them.
Q: Any message you wanted to give to our customers about why you choose Goorin and why you choose to continue adding more and more hats to your collection? / A: I choose Goorin Bros because animals are the prettiest creation of God.
